January snow days and play time!!

We've had some time to be a family and play and tease. We've got mama throwing Ali around, dada playing with her outside, how Ali carries a purse, Zac's typical stare, Ali learning to cut kiwi in the Burleigh residence (thanks David and Naomi), Ali showing Flames soccer-wear and taylor too while at it and then, for the best part, we see Zac giving us all faces. With dada having some time on a snowday, he just wondered which look was best, and while at it, we're taking hip hop name suggestions. His cousin Austin still has it at 'Wacky Zac-y' until anymore names are suggested.

Burnfield's in Mansfield!

Little out of order with Christmas pics, but we sure enjoyed seeing the B-rad's in town before Christmas. And while Ali was initially scared of a much bigger/stronger/more outgoing Grace, they got along great. Lots of little girl playing which Zac will continue to ignore on into the teenage years. Note chaos of an attempted (and best shot on my cam) group pose.

Holiday time at the farm!

After a miserable flying day back from Montana, we had some down time with Nana and Papa taking walks in unseasonable weather, riding in the 'inside tractor', saying 'moo' at every cow, and a new year's eve game of Things. We have some pics, largely of Ali who was super active the whole time. She really got into baking with Nana and then later settled down (to some degree) reading with Papa. In opening presents, we were stunned to see her realize the best fun of a chair her size is the picture on the BACK of the chair... silly us. On Sunday, Ali and her cousin Brook had a tea party with Nana, too.

Montana Christmas!

We had a great time in Helena celebrating Christmas with Amy's family. While our time largely overlapped Andy's more than other siblings/cousins, we did enjoy seeing everybody (21 total, 11 six and under!). First shots (and the kitchen lineup later on) were malt nights... which were even more popular with Jim's new machine. We've got lots of Ali outside in the snow (although she's more a fan of snow angels on the drive... no doubt I didn't teach her that... amy?) and sledding on Choteau. Matching jammies with Iowa Stumbo's on Christmas eve with the ever exciting toothbrush gift. Cousins and presents too. Enjoy...
