Minnesota July

July time in Minnesota... and fun with grandma reading books and playing with the camera while grandpa took them yard saling-- but not enough grandkid charm could pull off the castle! Lots of fun in the sand and in the water. Zac teaches Auntie Ellen what real muscles look like and great grandma Stumbo fries fish. Great grandparent Nick's have a cookout at the park, too. DQ time with the Pederson's wrapped up a great time. So fun to see you all!

And the birthday party the Stauffer's threw included a Williamsburg trip, complete with a reading of the Declaration at noon on the courthouse steps (see colonists using their Japanese technology at bottom). The kids enjoyed all of the 1700's activities and against my pacifist roots, enlisted in the continental army and underwent rifle and bayonet training with other recruits. Kids (and adults) worn out and collapsed on couch, the only relief was the amazing swimming pool. Thanks Stauffer gang for a fun time in Virginia!

Happy birthday, big girl. Night before was birthday girl chosen dinner... mac/cheese, hot dogs and bbq chips. Today's party was at a splash park with lots of friends and water. The end pics should be titled... 'why parents pray hardest that the 3rd born will make it'. Ali and Zac dig their little sister... and she's worth the love.
