Summer's here... and Ali's 3!

So while daddy had classes this week, mama planned a bday party... a water party! Fun friends came over and we all got wet. Ali had a couple small gifts in the morning and then a sandbox! Last weekend, we got to have a party at the farm, too, with cousin Brook and family! Strawberry Shortcake it was... as well as a mudpie making station, complete with a 'muffinman' mixing part. Also got to weed the garden with yummy veggies in it too. We've been going to the nature center to play lately too, here measuring trees' circumference to match our own height. And almost 2 weeks ago, we went to our first baseball game. The Clippers lost, but each kid downed 2 hot dogs on 'Dime-a-dog' night.

Memorial Day fun...

Brought out the sprinkler for the first time. Kids still cautious. Tried the hokey pokey to get them to dance into it. Grabbed some silly close up faces for fun and mama tries her hand at what to do with all those strawberries!
